Marketplace Terms
Last updated: 2026-07-21
The zmail.foo Marketplace connects verified professionals with clients who post service requests. These terms apply in addition to our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, and Community Guidelines.
Our role
zmail.foo is a directory and communication platform. We are not a party to the contract between a client and a professional, do not hold funds in escrow, and do not warrant the quality of work delivered off-platform. Payments made through zmail.foo are only for platform fees (publishing a request, submitting a proposal, subscribing).
Client (poster) obligations
- Post honest descriptions of the work, realistic budgets, and accurate timelines.
- Do not post the same request repeatedly or under multiple accounts.
- Respond to proposals in a reasonable time and mark the request closed when done.
- Do not use the marketplace to source contact details you then use for unsolicited outreach.
Professional obligations
- Maintain an active professional subscription and a passed KYC on file.
- Only submit proposals in professions you are qualified to serve.
- Deliver what you agree to. If circumstances change, tell the client promptly.
- Do not solicit off-platform payment for the sole purpose of avoiding platform fees.
Prohibited categories
The following requests and proposals are not allowed and will be removed:
- Illegal work, work that requires a license the professional does not hold, or work that violates Acceptable Use.
- Sexual services, weapons, drugs, gambling operations, and other categories restricted by Indian law.
- Requests to write reviews, generate fake engagement, or manipulate our verification or ranking systems.
- Personal-data brokerage or scraping of the directory.
Verification requirement
Only verified professionals can appear in the directory or submit proposals. Verification is described in the Professional Verification Policy.
Payments and fees
Platform fees are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy and the Subscription Policy. Money paid directly between a client and a professional for services delivered is between them; zmail.foo does not mediate that payment.
Disputes
If you have a dispute with another user, first try to resolve it directly. If that fails, file a report from the user's profile or open a grievance at /grievance. Our team will review evidence, may temporarily restrict features while investigating, and will respond within 15 days per IT Rules 2021.
Termination
We may remove listings, suspend accounts, or ban users who breach these terms. Appeals go through the standard grievance path.
